ArcGIS Pro provided through UCSB must be signed on to through either the desktop application or through ArcGIS online.
Part 1 - Initial login to UCSB ArcGIS portal
If you have not logged into the UCSB ArcGIS portal at least once, you will need to do this before using your UCSBnetID to log into the ArcGIS Pro application.
- In a web browser navigate to: https://ucsb.maps.arcgis.com/
- In the upper right hand corner click on the "Sign In" link.
- Click on the blue "UC Santa Barbara" Button
- Complete the UCSB SSO login with your UCSBnetID / password
Part 2 - Logging into ArcGIS Pro Desktop Application
After launching the ArcGIS Pro Desktop application, click on the "Sign in" link in the top right of the window.
A sign-on window should launch, next enter "UCSB" as the prefix for the ArcGIS organization URL, optionally check the remember this URL checkbox, then click on the blue "Continue" button.
A new window will display with a blue button titled "UC Santa Barbara", click this blue button to proceed.
A window will open displaying the standard UCSB SSO UCSBnetID screen, enter your UCSBnetID / password and proceed by clicking "LOG IN".
You ArcGIS Pro application should now be logged in an licensed.
