There are two questions in this FAQ. (1414 amplified voice options, and how to use a lav or handheld mic - at bottom of FAQ).
1414 amplified voice options:
- Wired LAV MIC: attached to the podium with an on/off switch.
- Wireless MICS: Pick up from 3516 - A wireless handheld and a wireless Lavalier
- If you need 3 wireless devices, we can unplug the wired lav, and connect a 3rd wireless LAV or handheld (request from compute team ahead of time, we store these handhelds in the projection room)
- More than 3 amplified voice microphones - (request from compute team ahead of time), we add in an "audio cart", which provides 4 additional wireless microphones. This requires us to schedule a student to setup and manage the audio cart and may involve an additional fee for the student staff time.

How to use a Handheld MIC and Lavalier MIC:
In a nutshell, hold the handheld close to your mouth and don't have the lavalier microphone powered on when you are attaching it.
