BREN-WIFI
- Uses your Bren network/desktop username and password to authenticate.
BREN-WIFI-GUEST
- Open a ticket by filling out this form. It will create a ticket with the Bren IT team.
- Guest accounts are for users that only need wireless access for a long period (ex: 6+ months).
- Vouchers are for users that only need wireless access for short time (days/weeks).
Windows & Mac computer
Microsoft Windows:
Click on your network icon within your task tray to show the available networks. Click on BREN-WIFI then click Connect.
For the BREN-WIFI network, you’ll be prompted to enter your Bren username and password.
If you see a box that asks you to continue connecting then its ok to press Connect.
Once you connect to the BREN-WIFI-GUEST network, your default web browser will open and redirect you to a landing page asking you for a voucher or username and password. This is a guest account that the Bren IT team will have created for you.
Apple Mac:
Open the the wireless menu and connect to BREN-WIFI. Enter your Bren desktop/network credentials.
When prompted for the server certificate, click on Continue to accept and finish the connection.
Once you connect to the BREN-WIFI-GUEST network, your default web browser will open and redirect you to a landing page asking you for a voucher or username and password. This is a guest account that the Bren IT team will have created for you.
Mobile device
Apple iOS:
BREN-WIFI - Open the Internet menu to display the available wireless networks. Select the BREN-WIFI wireless ID. You’ll be prompted to enter in your Bren network username and password.
When prompted, press Trust to finish the connection.
Guest - Open the Internet menu to display the available wireless networks. Select the BREN-WIFI-GUEST wireless ID. You’ll be redirected to a hotspot portal that will ask you for your user ID and password. These credentials will be something that was provided to you by the Bren IT team.
Google Android:
BREN-WIFI - Open the Internet menu to display the available wireless networks. Select the BREN-WIFI wireless ID and press connect. You’ll see a window asking for some additional info. See the screen shot below for the options you’ll need to select.
Guest - Open the Internet menu to display the available wireless networks. Select the BREN-WIFI-GUEST wireless ID. You’ll be redirected to a hotspot portal that will ask you for your user ID and password. These credentials will be something that was provided to you by the Bren IT team.
